Join us for a wonderful evening at the spectacular Pierre Hotel, enjoying fine dining, entertainment, dancing and a silent auction. The Swiss Ball is held under the patronage of the Consulate General of Switzerland of New York. We are privileged to honor the Swiss Founding Father of the United States - Albert Gallatin - on the 250th Anniversary of his birthday. Among many of Mr. Gallatin's achievements is the founding of New York University. We are very pleased that our theme will be represented by the President of New York University, Dr. John Sexton. The silent auction benefits the Swiss Society Fellowship Prize. In 2011 the grant will go to NYU's Albert Gallatin School for Individualized Study. Who was Albertin Gallatin? Read more about America's Swiss Founding Father and a recent book on him at SwissInfo.
