Clown DIMITRI impassioned the Swiss Ball 2010 audience. 2011
The Swiss Ball 2011 honored America’s Swiss Founding Father Albert Gallatin. Among his many achievements are diplomat, Congressman, the longest-serving United States Secretary of the Treasury and founder of New York University. We are pleased that the 2011 Fellowship was granted to students of New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study; the prize supported three students with project work in Mr. Gallatin's many areas of accomplishments.
2012
In 2012, we have the distinct pleasure to support a new field of study, orbital space debris. Professor Nicollier recognizes this as increasingly important issue to the planet Earth and its inhabitants. Under the guidance of Professor Nicollier, the Space Center at the École polytechnique fédérale in Lausanne, Switzerland is starting the design and development of a nanosatellite for "Orbital Debris Removal Satellite : Clean-mE".
